Lena Steele Beebe, 88, formerly of Washington, died Monday, July 27, 1998. Mrs. Beebe retired as executive director of the YWCA in Washington in the mid-1970s and was an avid bridge player. Surviving are her son, Richard P. Beebe; a grandson, Richard Beebe; and many nieces and nephews.
