Lloyd J. "Doc" Bonner, 67, of Atlasburg, died Tuesday, July 28, 1998, in Washington Hospital. Mr. Bonner was an ironworker until his retirement, working out of Local 3 of Pittsburgh. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict and was a member of Atlasburg Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6490. On November 16, 1957, in Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in Burgettstown, he married Charlene "Sis" Duffey Bonner, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Susan Bartoletti and Kathy Lonick, both of Burgettstown; two grandchildren, Jennifer and John Bartoletti; and two brothers, Frank Bonner of Ocala, Fla., and Danny Bonner of Washington. U.S. Navy veteran served during Korean conflict
He was born February 9, 1931, in Smith Township, a son of Hope F. and Clara Jockum Bonner.
