Philo P. Malone, 90, of Washington, died Wednesday, July 1, 1998, in Washington Hospital. He attended Pancake School. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a meter reader for Keystone Gas Co. On May 21, 1925, in Weirton, W.Va., he married Leola Walker, who died November 10, 1991. Surviving are two sons, Wray Malone of Phoenix, Ariz., and Philo L. Malone of Canonsburg; a daughter, Nona Quinn of Uniontown; seven grandchildren, James, Scott, Mary and Jerry Quinn, Linda Gearing, and Dennis and Scott Malone; and nine great-grandchildren.
