Joseph S. Lacko, 85, of Monongahela, died Tuesday, July 28, 1998, in Monongahela Valley Hospital. Mr. Lacko retired after 35 years as a school teacher at Munhall High School. He graduated from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh and was a member of Thomas Presbyterian Church in Eighty Four and Monongahela Elks Lodge 455. Surviving are four sons, John D. Lacko of Jacksonville, Fla., Judd Lacko of Ruff Creek, James E. Lacko of Monongahela and Paul L. Lacko of Rogersville; a brother, Edward Lacko of Georgia; two sisters, Martha of Galveston, Texas, and Olga; and 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Deceased are his wife, Mary Elizabeth Judson Lacko, who died November 10, 1991; and three brothers, Frank, Emro and John. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
