Esther Marie Weiss Bandel, 67, of Bandel Road, Eighty Four, died at 7:38 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 1998, in her home. Mrs. Bandel was a postal worker in the Eighty Four Post Office, retiring in 1991, and also was owner/operator of Bandel Airport in Eighty Four. She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Washington. Surviving are three sons, Bruce Jay Bandel of Eighty Four, Kurt Robert Bandel of Cicero, Ind., and Greg Allen Bandel of Marianna; three daughters, Cindy Hamstra of Eighty Four, and Lynn Cress and Jennifer Bandel, both of Calhoun, Ga.; two brothers, George Weiss Jr. and Warren Weiss, both of Taylorstown; a sister, Pamela Byers of Cicero, Ind.; and 12 grandchildren, Rebecca, Aaron, Matthew, Rachel, Ryan, Sara, Joshua, Anna and Reba Bandel, Tyler and Ashley Hamstra, and Meredith Cress.
