She was born June 25, 1909, in New Cumberland, W.Va., a daughter of Steven and Susie Sompin. Surviving are two daughters, Joan Baronio Lucarini of McDonald and Susan Scott of Weirton, W.Va.; one son, Donald J. of Langeloth; one sister, Mary of Cleveland, Ohio; seven grandchildren, D.J. and Scott Philip Rash, Thomas and Daniel Baronio, Timothy Lucarini, Katy Novalis and Vicki Hricz; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Deceased are one son, John Jr.; two sisters; three brothers; and one great-grandson. Services were private. Interment was in Paris Cemetery. On June 8, 1932, she married John Rash, who died December 27, 1972.
