Alfred S. Tedeschi, 73, of 212 Greenside Avenue, Canonsburg, died Wednesday, July 29, 1998, in Allegheny General Hospitals/Canonsburg. Mr. Tedeschi was a member of St. Genevieve Worship Site of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. He was employed by Fort Pitt Bridge Works, Canonsburg, and retired from Cooper Industries, Canonsburg, where he worked in the shipping and receiving department. Mr. Tedeschi was a lifelong resident of Canonsburg. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army in England, and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 191 of Canonsburg and American Legion Post 902 of Houston. Mr. Tedeschi enjoyed fishing and attending flea markets Surviving are a daughter, Aleta Stevenson of Brooklyn Center, Minn.; three sons, Alan Tedeschi of Canonsburg, Michael Tedeschi of Pittsburgh and Timothy Tedeschi of Bentleyville; 10 grandchildren, Aleta Johnson, Lisa Hinck, Laura Stevenson, and Yvonne, Michael, Christopher, Nina, Andrew, Nicholas and Ryan Tedeschi; and five great-grandchildren.
