John A. "Bud" Klimas, 71, of McDonald, died Thursday, July 2, 1998, in Allegheny University Hospitals-Canonsburg. Mr. Klimas served in the Navy during World War II. He worked for Consolidated Coal and Ben Construction. Mr. Klimas was a member of St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, United Mine Workers of America and the Laborers Union. On September 13, 1937, he married Viola Lewis, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, David A. Klimas of Upper St. Clair Township, Larry L. Klimas of Boardman, Ohio, and Kevin S. Klimas at home; five grandchildren; and one stepgreat-grandson. Deceased are two sons, Dale A. Klimas and Brian K. Klimas.
