Louise Applegate, 85, of Washington, died Monday, July 6, 1998, at Manor Care Health Services, McMurray. Mrs. Applegate was a member of Central Assembly of God Church, Houston, for more than 30 years, where she was active in Sunday school, Women's Ministry and the Abundant Life Group. She worked at The George Washington in Washington for more than 20 years. On July 1, 1928, she married George L. Applegate, who died on June 9, 1977. Surviving are three sons, Jack Woods of Cincinnati, Ohio, George Applegate of Richmond, Ky., and David Applegate of Washington; two daughters, Judy Bilak of Follansbee, W.Va., and Lorene Mueller of Washington; one brother, Andrew Kopp of Florida; one sister, Jean DeMaranville of Bulger; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
