Melanie "Min" Budness, 83, of Clinton, died Sunday, July 5, 1998, in her daughter's home in Coconut Creek, Fla. Mrs. Budness was a retired assistant manager for Kroger's supermarket in Mt. Lebanon, where she worked for 28 years. She retired in 1976. She was a member of Clinton United Presbyterian Church. In 1955, she married John Budness, who died in 1981. Surviving are a son, Jules Favand of Oakdale; two daughters, Margaret Fentiman of Columbus, Ohio, and Jane Marvin of Coconut Creek; a brother, Octave Verelst of Frankfort Springs; two sisters, Marie Legrand and Eva Supinski, both of McDonald; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
