Doris Elaine Ferro, 68, of Richeyville, died at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 1998, in Allegheny University - Canonsburg Hospital, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Ferro was a member of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church of Richeyville, where she taught catechism for 10 years and was a member of the Ladies Guild of the church. On June 26, 1948, she married John Ferro, with whom she celebrated 50 years of marriage, and who survives. Also surviving are a son, John Michael Ferro, at home; three brothers, Raymond Pichard of Roscoe, Albert Pichard of Columbus, Ohio, and Roland Pichard of California; two sisters, Rose Marie Schoener of Greenacres, Wash., and Thelma Brozic of Painesville, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
