Sara E. "Bunnye" Rager, 74, of Waynesburg R.D.1, died Tuesday, July 7, 1998, at her home. Mrs. Rager was a 1943 graduate of Waynesburg High School. She was a homemaker and lived most of her life in Greene County. Mrs. Rager was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Lippencott, where she was active in church affairs and served as president of the Calvary Missionary Society of the church, a member of the Morgan Township Farm Women and a past president of the Greene County PTA. On November 20, 1943, she married Kenneth L. Rager, who died July 27, 1981. Surviving are a son, Daniel L. Rager of Waynesburg, R.D.1; four daughters, Bonnie Garverick of Auburn, Ala., Connie Ross of Waynesburg, Claudia Waters of Charleston, S.C., and Myra Santucci of Mt. Morris; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Madolyn Rush of Phoenix, Ariz.; and two brothers, John Scott of Las Vegas, Nev., and Gail Scott of Tempe, Ariz.
