Phyllis B. Landau, 67, of East Beau Street, Washington, died Tuesday, July 7, 1998, in Washington Hospital.

Mrs. Landau was born March 11, 1931, in Bronx, N.Y., a daughter of Morris and Sadie Gammerman Goldstein.
She was a member of Beth Israel Sisterhood of Washington.
Mrs. Landau graduated from William Howard Taft High School, Bronx, N.Y., from New York Institute of Technology and from Community College of Allegheny County.
As a hobby, she enjoyed working with stained glass. She also enjoyed making pottery and hooking rugs.
On September 7, 1957, in New York, N.Y., she married Jack Landau, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Kenneth Landau of Haslitt, Mich., Michael Landau of Sydney, Australia, and Brian Landau of Seattle, Wash.; two daughters, Marian Landau of Pittsburgh and Ellen Landau of Niwot, Colo.; and one brother, William Goldstein of Queens, N.Y.
