Arthur Leo Hartzell, 91, of Massillon, Ohio, formerly of Dunn Station and Rawson Drive, Washington, died at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 1998, in Meadow Winds Nursing Home, Massillon, following an eight-year illness. Mr. Hartzell was a high school graduate and had been employed by Century Concrete and Judson Wiley as a truck driver prior to his retirement. On May 4, 1929, he married Daisy Maine Hartzell, who died June 2, 1984. Surviving are two sons, Roy Hartzell and Arthur L. Hartzell Jr., both of Tampa, Fla.; four daughters, Josephine Lamp of Navarre, Ohio, Patricia Mohr of Columbus, Ohio, Mona Staley of Massillon, Ohio, with whom he resided for five years, and Karen McDaniels of Redding, Calif.; 22 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
