John E. McGill, 78, of Manor Care Nursing Home, McMurray, died Monday, July 6, 1998, in Allegheny University Hospital-Canonsburg. Mr. McGill was Catholic and had resided in Washington the past 15 years. He was retired as an inspector for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He was a member of the Antique Car Club of Western Pa. Surviving are a son, William J. McGill of Riverview, Mich.; a daughter, Kathleen J. Elabed of Riverview; three grandchildren, Melissa Elabed and Erin and Devin McGill; and a brother, Tom McGill of Bridgeville.
