Arabell M. Moon, 96, of Waynesburg, R.D.3, formerly of Mather, died Tuesday, June 9, 1998, in Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown. Mrs. Moon was a homemaker and lived most of her life in Mather, where she attended Mather Christian Church. She was an active member of the Waynesburg Senior Citizens for the past 25 years. Her husband, James Edward Moon, died in 1971. Surviving are two daughters, Mary Vernon of Waynesburg R.D.3, with whom she made her home, and Joan Cain of Cortland, Ohio; two sons, Harold Moon of Jefferson and George Moon of Mentor, Ohio; 26 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Lucy Newill and Lorraine Guth, both of Dawson. Deceased are a daughter, Naomi Tenney; two sons, Floyd and Bruce Moon; a son who died in infancy; and seven brothers, Jessie, Lloyd, Earl, Earnest, Percy, Donald and Robert Moon.
