Anna B. Haines, 49, of 111 Thompson Gardens, Waynesburg, formerly of Oak Forest, died at 7:18 p.m. Sunday, June 14, 1998, in Greene County Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Haines was a 1967 graduate of West Greene High School and prior to her illness worked as a telephone operator for ALLTEL. She resided most of her life in Oak Forest and Waynesburg, and was a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 888, Waynesburg, and the Ladies Auxiliary of James T. Farrell Post 330 of the American Legion. Surviving are a daughter, Tammy L. Clark of Waynesburg R.D.3; a grandson, Russell T. Clark Jr.; four sisters, Joetta Reed of Oak Forest, Margaret Zollars of Waynesburg, Lynette Richards and Denise Hawk, both of Jefferson; four brothers, David Bateson of Elkhart, Ind., Kermit Bateson of Homer City, Phillip Bateson of Mesa, Ariz., and Stanley Bateson of Washington.
