William J. Hart, 83, of Washington, died Monday, June 15, 1998, at home. Mr. Hart was a 1933 graduate of Trinity High School and had been employed for more than 41 years at the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.'s Allenport plant before retiring in 1977. He was a lifelong member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Glyde, where he served as financial secretary on the Church Council for many years. Mr. Hart was a member of National Duncan Glass Society, serving on the board. He enjoyed farming, flea markets and yard sales. On March 11, 1939, he married Evelyn Walters, who survives. Also surviving are a son, James D. Hart of Amity; two daughters, Judy H. Osborne of Washington and Debra K. Hart of Bradenton, Fla.; three sisters, Anna Ames, Nellie Devore and Peg Wilson, all of Washington; four grandchildren, Jeff, Jill and Doug Osborne and Kristena Hart Minutolo; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two brothers, Roy C. and George D. Hart; three sisters, Olive Mowl, Dorothy Ulery and Gladys Phillips.
