Despina Orfanon Pihiou of 416 Gladden Road, Canonsburg, died Wednesday, June 17, 1998, in the Allegheny University Hospitals, Canonsburg. She was a lifelong resident of Canonsburg, where she was a member of All Saints Greek Orthodox Church. She graduated from Canonsburg High School in 1952. Mrs. Pihiou had worked at RCA for 30 years until its closing. She then worked at Sarris Candies for 10 years. She is survived by two sisters, Virginia Hanjorgiris of Bridgeville and Diana Halkias of Charleston, W. Va.; a brother, Emanuel V. Orfanon of Birmingham, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.
