Jessie "Tubbie" Rafail, 78, of Mt. Morris Star Route, Waynesburg, died unexpectedly Tuesday, June 16, 1998, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Mrs. Rafail was a homemaker and a former resident of Uniontown. She resided in Waynesburg since 1950. She was a devoted member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Waynesburg, the Shrine of St. Jude in Detroit, Mich., and St. George's Maronite Church in Uniontown. On May 22, 1941, she married Francis G. Rafail of Waynesburg, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, John Rafail of Hermitage, Paul Rafail of Plymouth, Mich., and Jude Rafail of Pitt Gas; two daughters, Judy Giddens of Cochran, Ga., and Gloria Cleveland of Waynesburg; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Frances Galvan of Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
