Harry Alfred Cagnon, 89, of Washington, died Saturday, June 20, 1998, in Washington Hospital. He was a graduate of Washington High School and Washington Business College and was an air raid warden during World War II. He was service manager at Columbia Gas Company, retiring after 43 years. Mr. Cagnon was a member of First United Presbyterian Church of Washington and was a lifetime member of the Washington Elks, Lodge 776. On April 18, 1931, he married Evelyn Weaver, who died April 4, 1989. Surviving are three grandchildren, Mark D. and Kevin H. Moninger, both of Washington, and Shawn D. Moninger of New York, N.Y.; and two great-grandchildren, Kirk C. and Ashley D. Moninger. Deceased are a daughter, Jeannine Cagnon Moninger; a sister, Margaret Voorhees; and a brother, John Cagnon.
