Elizabeth R. "Betty" Pavan, 63, of Houston, died Sunday, June 21, 1998, in Washington Hospital. Mrs. Pavan was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Canonsburg, and its Christian Mothers and a member of AFU of Strabane. She previously worked at the Fashion Hosiery Shop, Canonsburg, and in the Chartiers-Houston School District and St. Patrick School cafeterias. On May 10, 1958, she married Robert Pavan, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Robert Pavan of Canonsburg and Ronald Pavan of Parkersburg, W.Va..; three grandchildren, Madison, Jenna and Mason Pavan; a brother, Joseph Scarcell of Canonsburg; and three sisters, Ann Richards of Houston, Lucille Sartori of McDonald and Barbara Felton of Canonsburg.
