Fred Dale Blaker, 65, of Waynesburg R.D. 2, died Saturday, June 20, 1998, at his home. At one time in his youth he lived with his grandparents, Ulysses Grant and Victoria Blaker, as well as with his aunts and uncles, Ina Jean and Norman Smitley and Elizabeth and U. Grant Blaker. Mr. Blaker was a 1950 graduate of Mapletown High School and worked for Headlee Lumber and Wayne Lumber Company. He was an electrician, owning and operating Blaker's Electric for 41 years prior to operating the business with his son. He enjoyed fishing and was a former member of the Jay Cees. On March 22, 1952, he married Ruth Wolff, who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Debbie Gugliardo, Terri Ingram and Lori Blaker, all of Waynesburg and Vikki Wise of Hundred, W.Va.; a son, Wayne Blaker of Waynesburg; a sister, Margaret (Peggy) Hoy of Waynesburg; four grandchildren, Heather Ross, Brandon Ingram, Katie Ingram and Alyssa Areford, all of Waynesburg; and a great-granddaughter.
