Harold F. "Boots" Braddock, 91, of Waynesburg, formerly of Graysville, died Sunday, June 21, 1998, in Greene County Memorial Hospital. Mr. Braddock was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church in Wind Ridge and a member of Graysville VFD. He was a former school bus driver for Ralph Conklin Buses in West Greene and a self-employed farmer in Graysville for several years. He worked for PennDOT, and prior to his retirement in 1971, was employed by the Pennsylvania State Forestry and Water involved in the construction of Ryerson State Park and dam. On August 27, 1927, he married Merle Weimer, who died March 3, 1995. Surviving are a son, Ronald Earl Braddock of Hickory; two brothers, Robert M. of West Finley and Byron Braddock of Wind Ridge; four grandchildren, Ronald, Diane and Melissa Braddock and Mary Lee Maga; five great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren and several stepgreat-grandchildren. Retired farmer helped build Ryerson State Park
He was born August 27, 1906, in Bristoria, a son of Samuel Earl and Mabel May McNay Braddock. He resided in Graysville for several years and was a resident of Franklin Care Center since 1997.
