Virginia Frye Carson, 83, of Buffalo Township, died Sunday, June 21, 1998, in Presbyterian Medical Center, Washington. Mrs. Carson was a member of Claysville Christian Church, where she had served as a Sunday school teacher and deaconess. She was a 1932 graduate of Taylorstown High School and a graduate of beauty school. Mrs. Carson was a hair dresser in her home for several years. On June 21, 1941, in Washington, she married Samuel W. Carson, who died July 9, 1995. Surviving are two sons, Paul E. Carson of West Finley and Thomas Wright Carson of Buffalo Township; a daughter, Judy Kay Ealy of Buffalo Township; a brother, Billy Clayton Frye of Washington; a sister, Shirley Jean Harps of Washington; three grandchildren, Nathan Wright Ealy, Brylyn Gail Ealy and Laurie Kathleen Carson.
