Dr. Frances Pappas Vaccaro, formerly of Van Voorhis Lane, Monongahela, died Thursday, June 18, 1998, in her residence in Naples, Fla. Dr. Vaccaro was a former member of St. Anthony Church in Monongahela. She was a graduate of Boston University and the Women's Medical College of Philadelphia. She served her internship and one year of residency at Mercy Hospital, Altoona. She went into private practice with her husband, Dr. Michael Vaccaro, in Monongahela, serving for many years prior to their retirement to Florida in 1972. Surviving are a son, Dr. Vincent M. Vaccaro of Naples, Fla.; a grandson, Michael Vincent Vaccaro of New York, N.Y.; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Priscilla McCue of Donora.
