Lynn G. Newstrom, 66, of Monongahela, died Saturday, June 20, 1998, in Allegheny General Hospital. He was retired from Kruman Equipment of Pittsburgh and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War. Mr. Newstrom was a member of the Monongahela Free Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Kathy L. Smith of Monongahela; a son, Vaughn A. Newstrom of Belleville, Mich.; four grandchildren, Kelly Nardone and Joshua Smith and Charlene and Dustin Newstrom; one great-grandchild; four brothers, Raymond of Charleroi, Harold and Leonard of the state of California, and Howard of Iowa; three sisters, Edna Hogg of Charleroi, Ruth Gee of the state of California and Shirley Newstrom of Arizona. Deceased are an infant brother, Leroy; a sister, Mildred Ferdnandez; and his former wife, Helen S. Newstrom. Graveside services were held Monday, June 22, with the Rev. Bill Bailey officiating.
