Dorothy Jane Seighman Carson, 80, of 847 Spear Street, California, died Monday, June 22, 1998, at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was the widow of Paul Riggs Carson, who died January 29, 1973. Mrs. Carson was a member of California United Methodist Church, where she was active in the Woman's Society and Care and Share Shop. She was also a server at the Center in the Woods. Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Raboci of Confluence; a son, P. Richard Carson, at home; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Raboci, Scott Raboci, Douglas Raboci, Kelly Guess and Monica Conrad; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Sarah Ostifin of Monongahela. Deceased are two brothers, Herbert B. Seighman Sr. and George F. Seighman Jr.; and two sisters, Gladys M. Marraccini and Anna E. Seighman.
