Pete Bostich, 77, of Bentleyville, died at 10:36 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 1998, at his home. Mr. Bostich retired in 1982 from Bethlehem Mines Corp., Mine No. 60. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Philippines and Asiatic Theater. He was a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union 437, Lithuanian Club and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5454, all of Bentleyville. On July 9, 1949, he married Mildred Yakin, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Donna Nagy of Mandeville, La., and Barbara Maness of Tampa, Fla.; two sons, Peter Bostich of Winter Park, Fla., and Mark Bostich of Bentleyville; a brother, Miller Bostich of Washington; a sister, Mildred Stahl of Waynesburg; and seven grandchildren.
