Tony Celli, 85, of Rices Landing, died at 2:13 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 1998, in Uniontown Hospital. On September 26, 1934, he married Margery Dowlin, who survives. Mr. Celli was a coal miner at Nemacolin Mine and retired in 1979 after 48 years of service. He lived in Rices Landing for more than 63 years and was a former member of the Rices Landing Volunteer Fire Company and UMW Local 6290. Surviving in addition to his wife are one son, William Celli of Ford City; one daughter, Dolly Dolansky of Rices Landing; two sisters, Ellen Bell of Dilliner and Rachel Lowther of Nemacolin; four grandchildren; Tammy Strube, Tony Dolansky, Lisa Celli and Anthony Celli; and three great-grandchildren. Deceased are two brothers, Londo Celli and Baldo Celli; and four sisters, Mary Zuberbier, Della Bell, Rose Tenney and Margaret Kasenic.
