Emma Lou Taggart, 91, of Memphis, Tenn., died Monday, June 8, 1998, in Cordova Nursing Center near Memphis. Miss Taggart was a graduate of Sioux Falls College, Sioux Falls, S.D. She was a librarian for Duke University and for the U.S. Navy in Bainbridge, Md. She also worked for more than 25 years as librarian at the Naval Aviation Technical Training Center in Millington, Tenn. Miss Taggart enjoyed reading, traveling and painting. She was the last of her immediate family. She has two nephews, Kermit Taggart of Washington and Gilbert Taggart of Victoria, B.C.; and two nieces, Ruth Taggart Lowry of Washington and June Taggart Colilla of Bethesda, Md.
