Michael Jay Sachs, 45, of Hathaway Road, Claysville, died Wednesday, June 24, 1998, in Washington Hospital. Mr. Sachs was a member of Beth Israel Synagogue of Washington. A graduate of Glen Cove (N.Y.) High School, he was a department manager for Mellon Bank, Pittsburgh. On July 24, 1976, in Glen Cove, he married Mary K. Giambruno, who survives. In addition to his wife and parents, surviving are two sons, Jonathan E. and David J. Sachs, both at home; two sisters, Gay Flessel and Lois Hobertz, both of Long Island, N.Y.; and three nieces.
