Viola V. Kerin, 83, of Canonsburg, died at 3:10 a.m. Thursday, June 25, 1998, in Manor Care Health Services, McMurray, following an extended illness. Mrs. Kerin had lived her entire life in Canonsburg, where she was homemaker. She was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Parish, Houston Senior Citizens and SNPJ Lodge 138 of Strabane. On May 12, 1934, she married Joseph E. Kerin, who died September 27, 1996. Surviving are two daughters, Violet B. Stein of Coraopolis and Joan Y. Crawford of Canonsburg; a grandson, Troy M. Crawford; a sister, Stella Piechnik of Canonsburg; two brothers, Julius "LuLu" Casper and Joseph Mulshen, both of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.
