Henry Papesh, 69, of Cambridge, Ohio, formerly of Slovan, died Thursday, June 25, 1998, in his home. He was a 1948 graduate of Union High School, Burgettstown. Mr. Papesh owned and operated his own barber shop in Waynesburg prior to his retirement in 1995. He was a member of the Master Barbers Association of Greene County. He was also a member of VFW, the Moose Lodge and the American Legion, all of Waynesburg. Stationed in Washington, D.C., he was a corporal of the Anti- Aircraft Artillery (AAA) for the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. Surviving are his wife, Lucille Ostojich Papesh; two sons, Henry Papesh of Houston, Texas, and Mark Papesh of Parkersburg, W. Va.; a daughter, Donna Platt of Munhall; a sister, Josephine Benn of Monroeville; and two grandchildren, Matthew and Andrea Papesh.
