Hannibal "Neeb" Trapuzzano, 71, of Washington, died unexpectedly Thursday, June 25, 1998, in Washington Hospital. Mr. Trapuzzano was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and Edwin Scott Linton American Legion Post 175. He was a graduate of Washington High School and Waynesburg College. Mr. Trapuzzano was a civil engineer, employed by the U.S. Department of Transportation. During World War II, he was a member of the 88th Infantry Division, receiving the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign medal and the World War II victory medal. On October 31, 1953, he married Jean Willis Trapuzzano, who died in 1980. Surviving are three sons, Lawrence B. Trapuzzano of Columbia, Md., Theodore D. Trapuzzano of Ellicott City, Md., and Hannibal C. Trapuzzano Jr. of Laurel, Md.; a daughter, Angelica M. Thompson of Leonardtown, Md.; eight grandchildren, Jason and Jenna Thompson, and Susan, Lawrence Jr., Theodore, Caitlyn, Joseph and Brooke Trapuzzano; and several nieces and nephews.
