Mary Gloady, 84, of Washington, died at 7:38 a.m. Sunday, June 28, 1998, in Washington Hospital following a long illness. Mrs. Gloady was a member of Immaculate Conception Church of Washington. She was employed as a packer for Metro Glass for 27 years, retiring in 1972. Mrs. Gloady enjoyed crocheting, gardening and her grandchildren. On August 2, 1941, she married Joseph N. Gloady who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Kathleen Ferralli of Chandler, Ariz., Mary Ann McGuffie of Weirton, W.Va., and Joann Gloady at home; a son, Thomas Joseph Gloady of Dayton, Ohio; a sister, Helen Markoski of Washington; eight grandchildren, Tina, Jennifer and Amy Ferralli, Angela VanEijl, Colleen and Robert McGuffie and Thomas A. and Ashlee Gloady; and a great-grandson. Deceased are a son, Joseph N. Gloady Jr., who died in infancy; three brothers, John, Joseph and Tony Gregor; and a sister, Margaret Dolan.
