Effre Mae Hoover, 90, of S Bridge Road, Prosperity, died at 2:20 a.m. Monday, June 29, 1998, in Washington Hospital. Mrs. Hoover was a glass selector for 20 years at Metro Glass. She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Canonsburg. On February 20, 1926, she married Raymond Reeves Hoover Sr., who died July 3, 1953. Surviving are two sons, Ronald L. Hoover of Prosperity and Donald Hoover of Emory, Texas; two daughters, Donna Dorrycott of Holland, Pa., and Judy Vitteck of Washington.; 23 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Deceased are a son, Raymond R. Hoover Jr.; a daughter, Norma Jean Weaver; eight brothers, Chester, Ralph, Edward, William, Frank, George, Albert and Fred Levers; and three sisters, Harriett Hayes, Elizabeth Draucker and Ellen Ready.
