Margaret D. Hart, 81, of La Fontaine, Ind., formerly of Wabash, Ind., and Lang Avenue, Washington, died at 7:20 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, 1998, in the Rolling Meadows Health Care Center, La Fontaine.

She was born October 2, 1916, in Washington, a daughter of William and Anna Mary Powell Howell.
A homemaker, she was a member of the Avery Methodist Church.
She had resided in Wabash since June of 1993.
On August 28, 1936, she married Ray "Hess" Hart, who died May 2, 1993.
Surviving are a son, Ray A. Hart of Wabash; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sisters, Leona Angott and Dorothy Gates.
