James R. "Zeke" Wasler, 75, of Washington, died at 8:35 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, 1998, in his home following a brief illness. Mr. Wasler was a graduate of Washington High School where he participated in basketball. He also enjoyed playing softball as a youth. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Wasler worked in the construction industry and was a former member of the Bricklayer's Union before becoming owner-operator of Wasler's Original Flower Shop in Washington. On August 24, 1957, he married Dorothy Woodson, who died February 22, 1983. Surviving are a son, Michael W. Wasler, at home; and several nieces and nephews.
