Mabel Oliver Young, 99, of Mt. Lebanon, formerly of North Wade Avenue, Washington, died Saturday, June 6, 1998, in Mt. Lebanon Manor. Mrs. Young graduated from Peabody High School, Pittsburgh. She was a member of Church of the Covenant and formerly was active in the Child Welfare Circle and Current Events Club. On January 14, 1927, she married George Young in Pittsburgh, who died October 26, 1963. Surviving are a son, Robert A. Young of Green Valley, Ariz.; and two daughters, Jean Voorhes of Isle of Palms, S.C., and Nancy Oliver of Mt. Lebanon; a sister, Jean O.
