Esther F. Sarvas, 73, of Scott Township, died Friday, June 5, 1998, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Mrs. Sarvas was a former employee at Main Hotel & Restaurant in Carnegie. Surviving are her husband, Joseph P. Sarvas; two daughters, Joyce L. Duff of Greentree, and Sherry R. Filkorn of Canonsburg; two sons, Paul S. Sarvas of Pittsburgh's North Hills area, and Garron K. Sarvas of Scott Township; a brother, Frank Salzman of Arizona; seven grandchildren, Joseph Pierce, Nathan and Autumn Filkorn, Holly, Tarron, Jeffrey and Samuel Sarvas; and a great-grandchild, Matthew Pierce.
