John Szedon, 87, of Forest Hills, formerly of Finleyville and Clearwater, Fla., died at 12:10 a.m. Sunday, June 7, 1998, at Westchester Gardens, Clearwater, Fla. He was a retired mechanic of Penn Central Railroad. He was a graduate of Clairton High School and a member of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church and the Greek Catholic Union, McKeesport. Surviving are three sons, John R. of Forest Hills, William A. of Stone Mountain, Ga., and Ronald G. of Gainsville, Ga; one daughter, Janet C. Manry of Safety Harbor, Fla.; two sisters, Helen Byers of Finleyville and Ann Annis of Monongahela; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
