Clyde H. Hefner, 67, of Monongahela, died Thursday, February 26, 1998, at his home. Mr. Hefner was formerly employed by Frank Irey Industries and later was a self-employed construction worker in the Mon Valley area. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War and was a member of American Legion Frank Downer Post 302 of Monongahela and the Slovak Club of Donora. Surviving are a son, Clyde Hefner of Monongahela; two grandchildren, William and Marissa Hefner; two brothers, Richard and George Hefner, both of Belle Vernon; a sister, Thelma Flint of Monongahela; and numerous nieces and nephews.
