Helen D. Peters, 88, of Monongahela, formerly of Stockdale, died Thursday, February 26, 1998, at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Peters was a former member of St. Joseph's Church in Roscoe. She was the last of her immediate family. Surviving are a daughter, Maryann Anthony, with whom she made her home in Monongahela ; eight grandchildren, Dennis Riegelnegg, Mike, Mark, Matt and Mitch Panich, John and Richard Peters and Lorraine Johnson; and 12 great-grandchildren. Deceased are her husband of 49 years, John C. Peters, who died October 24, 1976; a daughter, Lorraine Riegelnegg; a son, John P. "Buddy" Peters; six brothers, Stephen, John Jr., Carl, James, Pete and Paul Baum; and five sisters, Mary Ann Killius, Hannah Lawton, Rose Marsland, Katherine Susac and a sister who died at birth.
