E. Jean Carroll Minton Davis, 53, of Grant Avenue, Moundsville, W.Va., formerly of Wind Ridge, died Sunday, March 8, 1998, at Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, W.Va. Mrs. Davis was Baptist, and was an employee of Genuine Auto Parts, Elm Grove, W.Va. She was married to Harry Lee Davis, who survives. Also surviving are a son, James "Jimbo" Minton of Moundsville; a daughter, Jerri Lynn "Sis" Moore of Moundsville; a stepson, Jerry Lee Davis; two stepdaughters, Lisa Lee Gutshall and Margaret Ann Dolin, all of Moundsville; four brothers, James "Bud" Carroll of Carmichaels, Harry R. Carmichael of West Finley, Ben Staggers of Washington and Mike Staggers of Carmichaels; three sisters, Sarah Clutter of West Finley, Joanne Hamilton of Graysville and Mary Lou Amos of Sycamore; three stepsisters, Mary Kiger of Prosperity, Carol Dye of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Brenda Finnegan of Wind Ridge; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was born July 1, 1944, in Wind Ridge, the daughter of the late James Dennis Carroll and Orpha Cleo Allum Carroll Staggers.
