George J. Pierotti, 85, of Monessen, died Monday, March 9, 1998, at Mon Valley Hospital, Carroll Township. Mr. Pierotti was Protestant. He was a member of BPOE 773 of Monessen, where he served as Past Exalted Ruler, past president of Naiomi Athletic Club and Monessen Polish Club. Mr. Pierotti had been employed in the blooming mill department of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Co. until his retirement. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served in the Philippine Theater. His wife, Florence, is deceased. Surviving are a son, Daniel Phillips of Bentleyville; three grandchildren, Becky Hillman, Nikki Maniecki and Billy Phillips; and one great-granddaughter.
