Bertrand B. Riggle, 69, of 1049 9th Avenue, Brockway, died Monday, March 9, 1998, at DuBois Regional Medical Center-West. Mr. Riggle was a member of Brockway Presbyterian Church, where he served as a trustee and ruling elder. He was a graduate of Lock Haven University and retired in 1992 after 35 years as a mathematics teacher at Brockway Area schools. He also coached football. Mr. Riggle was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. His wife, Elizabeth Riggle, survives. Also surviving are a son, David S. Riggle of Emmaus; a daughter, Susan Alderton of Falls Creek; a brother, John H. Riggle of Houston; a sister, Gwendolyn Koski of Pennsauken, N.J.; and four grandchildren.
