Word has been received of the death of Ralph Romestan, 63, of Tempe, Ariz., formerly of Midway, who died Monday, March 2, 1998. Mr. Romestan was a 30-year employee with Trans World Airlines. He was a member and commander of Bulger Veterans Skinner-Brun Post 7218. He was also an avid softball player and was involved with the children's programs at the Midway Volunteer Fire Department. He graduated from Union High School in Burgettstown. On June 7, 1958, he married Roseline Tatanish, who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Terri Harrington of Mesa, Ariz., Tina Duran of Tempe and Tonie Romestan of California; three sisters, Lois Snatchko of Imperial, Dolly Poznak of Midway and Donna Mae Brookshire of Park City, Ill.; three brothers, Alfred and Jules of Bulger and Melvin of Burgettstown; and three grandchildren, Angela, Ashley and Andrew Harrington. Deceased are five brothers, Louis, William, George, Marcel and Elmer. A Memorial Mass was held March 3 at Church of the Holy Spirit, Tempe, with the Rev. John Hanley as celebrant.
