Irene J. Fisher, 60, of Terrace Avenue, Washington, died unexpectedly at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 1998, in Washington Hospital following a brief illness. Mrs. Fisher was a homemaker, devoting her adult life to her family. On June 9, 1956, she married George W. Fisher, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Donna McVehil of Washington; a son, David W. Fisher at home; a brother, Edward Trevena of Forest Park, Ga.; three sisters, Viola Kovacicek of Washington, Dorothy Luskoski of Washington and Dolores Leath of Forest Park, Ga.; a half brother, Donald McCloskey of Colorado; a half sister, Linda Ankrom of Latrobe; two grandchildren, Kyla and Michael McVehil. Deceased are a son, George W. Fisher Jr.; four sisters, including her twin, Jeanette Trevena, Virginia Thomas and two sisters who died in infancy; four brothers, John and Ernest Trevena and Gary and Joel McCloskey.
