Josephine I. School, 89, of Venetia, died Tuesday, March 10, 1998, in Monongahela Valley Hospital. Mrs. School was a homemaker, lived her life in Hackett and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Finleyville. She was married to Thomas H. School until his death on January 19, 1950. Surviving are two sons, Thomas H. School Jr. of Rochester, N.Y., and William A. School of Elizabeth; three daughters, Lorraine L. Clawson of Venetia, Joanne S. Moffat of Cazenovia, N.Y., and Irene Holmes of Venetia; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchildren. Deceased are two grandchildren, Robert A. Clawson and Kirk D. School; three sisters, Mary Malnerich, Lucille Terchick and Cecelia Dolinar; and six brothers, Paul, Anthony, Matthew, William, John and Joseph Terchick. She was born November 6, 1908, in Hackett, a daughter of Paul and Josephine Samida Terchick. She was the last surviving member of the Terchick family.
